The time has come

To say goodbye

But I gotta run

There's no time to cry

But I'll miss you so

Until the end

You'll be in my heart

And that, I promise my friend

'Cause you were my rock

My heart & soul

But that damn clock

Says it's time to go

So this is the end

I'll see you again

But probably not

'Cause Heaven's pretend

It's all water under the bridge

Yet another bridge I've burned

A bridge I've burned that I frequently crossed

You crossed my mind but my mind is lost

When I lost you, I lost my manhood

This man does bad when you're doing so damn good

What good is closure if the wounds are open?

These wounds won't heal if I'm still hoping

Hoping & praying that there's still a chance

But chances are my wounds will enhance

Until that's all I am

Wounds, scars, and scabs

The last we spoke
You sat on my lap
Asked for a french fry

You've been gone
For over a month
And still, I've yet to cry

I hadn't been around
But you were always by my side
When we were together for all those years

You'll always be around
In my mind & in my heart
And especially in all my tears

If they ever fall

Your smile warmed me
You tried to warn me
Not to get close
But I fell anyway

Deep in your arms
I felt no harm
I got too close
You kept going anyway

I spilled my heart
I knew from the start
That I'd get too close
I stuck around anyway

You crossed the line
One too many times
We may have been close
But fuck you anyway

Depression is depressin
Requestin a blessin
That leaves me second-guessing
Stressin the suggestion
Of anger & agression
But probably just repression
Which led to this depression
