When passion comes crashin

There's nothing left

You can try to hold on

But don't hold your breath

You're living in misery

But, atleast you're living

They say it's give & take

With no take, you keep giving

You give her your world

Your whole world she...

Cut straws

Severed ties

Hotel parking

Blood-shot eyes

Plastic baggies

Bottles & cans

I'm not a better man
Than the man I am

Drug dealers

Bartenders

Loose women

On a bender

Drunken brawls

Shitty bands

I'm not a better man
Than the man I am

I search within

For things unknown

For life unseen

For light unshown

For things unclear

For growth ungrown

These things I find

I don't condone

I hike through the woods
All alone

At peace with my world
No desire for home

The birds chirp
The snakes crawl

Tiny pebbles
Form a waterfall

The leaves blow wild
The wind blows free

The deer rub antlers
Against a tree

Creek water flows
Trees falling all around

Even with me present
They don't make a sound

The wilderness is wild & free

Do yourself a favor
Stay the hell away
From my bad behavior

Take it all in stride
I'll take you for a ride
And I'll be your savior

I do with you as I please
I'll have you on your knees
Begging for your life

You think it's all in fun
Until I pull my gun
And make you drop your knife
